Anthony Becht Golf Classic 2015

ANTHONY BECHT 10th ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC

On Monday June 22, 2015 over 121 golfers joined Bonner Football Alumni and former NFL Football Player Anthony Becht for the 10th Annual Anthony Becht Golf Classic. Over the past 10 years the golf event has raised tens of thousands of dollars to support the Bonner & Prendie Catholic High School Football team.

Our event featured not only a great day of golf, lunch and dinner at Paxton Hollow Country Club but it also hosted many other special activities such as "Beat the Pro Challenge" vs Anthony Becht and a hole in one contest on all par 3's with a chance to win a Videon Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep. This year the event raised more than $25,000 for the B&P football team! Below are some pictures from the event.

On June 7th, 2015 several members of our Friars Football team attended Lauren's First and Goal Football Camp. Coaches from universities all around the country were at LFG camp donating their time to work with campers in order to raise funds for Pediatric Brain Tumor Cancer Research. Our Friars spent the day running offensive and defensive drills with football coaches from universities such as Dartmouth, Temple, Kutztown, Rutgers, Army, Navy, Bloomsburg & Villanova. Players also got to hear from guest speaker Jim Harbaugh, Head Coach of the University of Michigan. Over 2,000 campers attend the camp raising more than $120,000 for pediatric cancer research.

If you would like to find out more about attending Lauren's First and Goal and/or supporting the organization you can go to http://www.lfgf.org for more information.
